Woodland Beach

Description

The southernmost of Tiny Township’s five public beaches, on Tiny Beaches Road South near the Springwater boundary, with a boardwalk running behind the sand.

There is a permanent washroom building open through the season, alongside portable washrooms, picnic tables, and garbage and recycling. No playground here, and no accessible beach access.

Water quality is sampled from June through the Labour Day weekend by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, with advisories posted when E. coli levels rise.

Parking is Pay and Display, with permit parking also available from April 15 to October 15. Machines take coins and credit card, and the HotSpot app covers every metered machine in Tiny. Non-resident permits are limited to residents of Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Springwater, and the township’s permit page currently shows them sold out for 2026, so Pay and Display is the route for visitors this season.

Under the township parks by-law the beach is closed from midnight to 6:00am, and personal property cannot be left overnight to hold space.
