Grounded Coffee Company

A coffee shop and roastery on Bay Street near the waterfront, with the roaster running in the same room as the counter and bakers working in view. Two roasts are usually on brew.

Baristas here work a long espresso list, and the menu widens into smoothies, kombucha and a bakery side turning out scones, cookies and pastries daily, gluten free options among them. The café also carries local products.

Beans, tea and brewing tools are sold in the shop and online, with orders placed in advance for in store pickup.

Among the independent cafes and coffee shops in Midland this is the long standing one, and the closest to the water.

A short walk from the Town Docks, drawing regulars from across town and visitors off the waterfront.
