Balm Beach Resort & Motel

A beach motel in the heart of the Balm Beach hamlet, directly across Tiny Beaches Road from the sand. Southern exposure puts sun on the units through the day and sunsets straight off the front, and the rooms look out over Georgian Bay.

Accommodation runs to two types. Efficiency suites take a queen bed and a double pull-out, with a kitchenette holding a full size fridge, stovetop, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishes and cookware. Two-room suites sleep four across two beds and a pull-out, with a full kitchen and stove. Every unit is air conditioned, with a washroom and shower, a flat screen TV and free WiFi.

Gas barbecues, picnic areas and a fire pit sit out front facing the water. The property is smoke free, and daily housekeeping is not provided.

Small non-shedding dogs are welcome for a nightly or weekly fee. There is no online booking; stays are arranged by phone or email, and the summer pattern is Friday to Friday weekly bookings.

The beach strip is a short walk, with a restaurant, ice cream, a variety store, go karts, mini putt and tennis courts. Midland is about fifteen minutes away by car, where the area’s hotels and motels are clustered.
