Midland Connect is an independent business directory for Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay, Tiny, and the surrounding North Simcoe communities. We are not a national listing site with a Midland page bolted on. We live here, we shop here, and we have been covering this area since 2021.
That local focus is the whole point. When you search here, you find businesses that actually operate in North Simcoe, not results pulled from two towns over or listings that closed years ago.
What We Do
We list the businesses that actually operate in North Simcoe. Shops, trades, restaurants, clinics, marinas, and services. Every listing is free, and every business owner can claim their page, keep the details current, and add photos, hours, and contact information.
Alongside the directory we publish local guides. Where to eat, what is on this weekend, which contractor does what, and what to see around Georgian Bay. Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, Wye Marsh, Awenda, Little Lake Park, the murals, the Butter Tart Festival. If it happens here, we try to cover it.
Why We Built It
Search for a plumber in Midland and you get national directories that have never been here, listings for businesses two towns over, and results that closed years ago. The information about our own community is scattered, out of date, or owned by companies with no stake in whether Midland does well.
We thought local businesses deserved better than that, and so did the people trying to find them.
